Momo en de Tijdspaarders – Momo and the time thieves
Momo was a four-day film workshop for children between 6 and 14 years in which the participants were acting, making the scenography, music and the costumes for the film. The animation film tells the story of a little girl called Momo who fights against the grey man who tries to steal the time from the people. The story is based on a novel by Michael Ende and discusses the concept of time and how it is used by humans in modern societies.
The project has been initiated by the artist of the Cultuurnetwerk OpenACTA, Amsterdam, the workshop was given by Evelien Nijeboer, Maarten van der Glas, Jerke van den Braak and Hannah Kindler, and was subsidised by Talentontwikkeling Nieuw West.
