During their residency at Kabuff, Hannah Kindler and Oliwia Hälterlein seamlessly melded their distinctive creative approaches. Kindler developed clothing objects, each imbued with a unique character. Concurrently, Hälterlein meticulously curated a vibrant tapestry of text fragments and sentences, encompassing renowned literary works by influential authors, manifestos, doctrines, and everyday expressions. A common theme emerged as texts celebrating women and exploring their multifaceted identities took center stage. This interdisciplinary and participatory project deftly probes (gender)stereotypes, blurring the lines between performance, installation, clothing objects, and text. As the residency drew to a close, the project found its ultimate expression in a captivating 25-minute film.
